Olive oil is deeply rooted into Cretan tradition and the Cretan diet. Nearly every family in Crete harvests its own olive trees and produces its own olive oil — an essential element that is never missing from the table. Pathos EVOO is crafted in a traditional olive grove at the northern foothills of Mount Psiloritis, in the area of Kavalaria, Korfes Malevizi. Made exclusively from the Koroneiki variety, the olives are cultivated organically, with great respect for every stage of the process. All production practices are carried out with care for both the environment and the olive trees themselves.
